Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, 9/5/20
When we did our big RV trip with my parents last summer we just went to the edge of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, but didn't have time to really go IN to the park. We decided to make a weekend trip of it and spent Labor Day weekend in Wrangell-St. Elias NP! It is a beautiful park, and so BIG!!! (WRST is 5x as big as Yellowstone!) We spent three days here, but really only saw a small part of the park. There are two dirt roads to drive into the park (otherwise you take an airplane or boat, haha!) We took the McCarthy Road to Kennecott, and it was so fun! I took a ton of pictures so I'll split it up into several blog posts.
Our first stop was at the visitor center near Copper Center. (Where we stopped with my parents.) We also stopped at Liberty Falls, and then at the Ranger Station in Chitina. The fall colors were just starting to show, and it was so pretty! We also lucked out with perfect sunny weather the entire time! Enjoy! 🍁🍂

Liberty Falls, 7/13-14/20
Each night we were in the RV we camped somewhere different. Every place we stayed was so beautiful, but I think this one might have been my favorite. This campground has a huge waterfall, and we could hear the rushing water all night. I loved it! There were also huge pine trees all through the campground. We were only here a short time, but it was so pretty! That night we had a yummy campfire dinner, and then we kind of explored around the waterfall the next morning before heading out on our way. It was so fun!
