Blueberry Lake, 7/15-16/20
The next night we camped just outside of Valdez at Blueberry Lake State Recreation Site. It was just a little lake and campground, but it had beautiful views. We went on several little walks just exploring the campsite and Ruby tried fishing, but unfortunately didn't catch anything. With our campfire dinner that night we had some delicious s'mores! Yum!

Valdez Glacier Lake, 7/15/20
One of our favorite things we did in Valdez was go to Valdez Glacier Lake. This lake is the terminus of Valdez Glacier and there are huge chunks of floating glacial icebergs in the water. It was so beautiful and the girls loved exploring and playing with little pieces of the beautiful ice. Enjoy these pics!
Valdez, 7/14-15/20
The next couple days we spent in Valdez. We had beautiful weather and loved spending time together in the camper van! I think if it weren't for covid we would have spent more time walking around Valdez in town, shopping and stuff, but we still had fun! We walked around the harbor, did a short hike above the Civic Center (where we found lots of salmon berries), and camped across the water, over by the hatchery. We loved Solomon Gulch Hatchery we were could watch huge sea lions eat salmon after salmon after salmon! (See my IG for videos!) Enjoy these pics!

Valdez Waterfalls, 7/14/20
On the way into Valdez there are several HUGE and GORGEOUS waterfalls. Although the drive got long at times with the kids, it was so pretty! This is such a beautiful part of our state! We stopped at Bridal Veil Falls and Horsetail Falls on our way. Both are so pretty! Enjoy these pics!

Worthington Glacier, 7/14/20
Our first stop the next day was Worthington Glacier. This is a huge glacier easily seen on the drive to Valdez. We stopped here for a bit and took a short walk to the glacier viewing area. It was a nice break to stretch our legs. This is just one of the many, many beautiful glaciers we have been able to see here in Alaska!
