Gingerbread House, 12/13-14/22
One of our neighbors hosts a gingerbread decorating activity at their home every year, but this year there was a really bad snow storm (they live up a really steep hill), so she dropped us off a gingerbread house and candy to decorate on our own at home. We all worked together as a family, and it turned out so cute! It looked so good, I decided it needed its own post, haha. Enjoy!
| The front. I love everything about this: the little path, the pretzel fence, the candy roof, the Christmas lights, the wreath, the rock chimney, the trees. So cute! |
Nov. '22
This is a compilation of cute photos from Nov. '22 that otherwise don't have a separate blog post. It was a fun and busy month!
| Noelle has always been our snow girl. She was so excited to get her snow gear on and play in it after having this little storm just two days into November. Little did we know, it was the start of a HUGE record breaking snow season for Utah! See here and here. |
Grandma Hadley's Birthday, 12/22/20
We had the most special Christmas this year! Grandma and Grandpa Hadley were able to come visit us and spend a whole week with us! It was the best! We had been planning it for a few months, and it was kind of tricky with all the covid restrictions and testing, but we all tested negative and did our best to stay safe, and it worked out! We were so glad!
Mike and Kay arrived on Kay's 69th birthday! Scott picked them up from the airport in the evening, and then when they got here we all had some yummy coconut cake. The girls helped me make it during the day and were the best little helpers cleaning and getting ready. They were so excited and kept asking when Grandma and Grandpa would get here. We were so happy to see them and that we got to spend this beautiful Christmas season together. 🎄⭐
