Spring Ballet Recital/Choir Concert, 4/27/24, 4/30/24

Friday, May 9, 2025

Right after moving here I got Noelle and Robyn signed up for ballet to continue working on what they had started in Utah. It was a great studio, and they had a fun time, (although I definitely miss Studio 1!) In the spring they had a nice recital. It's a bigger studio so they had many recitals during the day, and Noelle and Robyn weren't in the same one, but I had fun watching all the other classes as well, haha. Both Noelle and Robyn are such beautiful dancers and I love seeing them on stage! Great job girls!

Ruby also had a spring choir concert with her school. I was so impressed with the program! Her music teacher is so good with the kids and puts in so much work. I don't know that much about music, but the songs were great, and the lights on the stage were so cool too! I loved the concert! Great job Ruby!

Noelle's Choir Concert, 4/16/24

Wednesday, May 7, 2025

Noelle joined choir shortly after we moved here, and she has loved it! The music teacher at her school is so amazing, and I'm so glad she's had the opportunity to learn from her! They had a spring concert with the band, and Noelle did a great job! Yay Noelle! 🎶

Ruby's 2nd Grade Concert, 1/23/20

Thursday, January 30, 2020
Ruby's music class had their annual choir concert last week. Ruby has been practicing the songs for a few months now, and they did so good! Her music teacher is so amazing and so enthusiastic! It was a fun concert to watch. Ruby even had a special part where on one song she and a few other students got to use percussion instruments. Ruby was on the maracas. It was very cute. Our seats were kind of far back and she moved to a different spot while she had the maracas so I didn't get a picture of that, but luckily one of our friends was sitting super close and sent me a video. I included a few screenshots from the video of her with the maracas. Great job Ruby!

Noelle's Preschool Program, 12/13/19

Monday, January 27, 2020
Noelle has been loving preschool! She has done so well and it's been so good for her. We've been really happy with the program, her teacher has been wonderful, and she's learning so much!

Just before Christmas all the preschool classes at her school put on a winter program where they got to dress up as snowmen and sing three songs. They all did so good, and Noelle sang loud and proud! We loved being able to pick out her voice among all the others. It was such a sweet little program. Enjoy these cute pics!

Robyn also wanted to wear a scarf like Noelle. And all the kids made their own hats in class. Also notice her cute painted on carrot nose

Ruby's 1st Grade Concert, 3/28/19

Tuesday, April 2, 2019
All the first graders at Ruby's school have music class 1-2 times a week, and they just put on their concert last Thursday. They sang five songs all together and it was so cute! Ruby has been practicing her songs at home and it was so fun to see her perform with all her classmates. I took the outside pictures after the concert and it was still so light! We're loving the sunshine! 🌤

Ruby is looking so grown up! She's such a beauty! 💖

Ruby's Christmas Concert, 12/5/17

Thursday, December 7, 2017
Ruby has Music almost everyday in her kindergarten class. (We love Dena'ina Elementary!) Last Tuesday all the kindergarten classes put on a concert with some Christmas songs they've been singing at school. It was so cute! I think they sang five songs so the whole program was just about 20 minutes. Perfect for families with small children! Ruby did great and it was so fun to see her perform with all her classmates. Unfortunately she has been sick this past weekend with strep throat, but by Tuesday night she had been on the antibiotics long enough to not be contagious anymore, and she was feeling much better than the previous days/nights, so she got to be in the concert. Enjoy these cute pics!

Also, on Wednesday, Ruby's class got to go on a field trip to The Alaskan Nutcracker! (The last two pics.) I was lucky enough to be a chaperone and go with them while Scott stayed home with Noelle and Robyn. The Nutcracker was very cute with Alaskan themes throughout the show, and I'm so glad I got to see it. I think I enjoyed it more than most the kids, Ruby included, haha. But we all had fun! :)

Ruby and her music teacher, Miss Daley
Getting ready. This pic cracks me up!
