Navajo Loop Trail, 2/19-20/22
We spent Presidents' Day weekend at Bryce Canyon National Park! Noelle's birthday always seems to fall around Presidents' Day and so we also celebrated Noelle while we were there. (We planned to go cross country skiing because Noelle loved it so much in AK, but there wasn't enough snow 😕.) We stayed at Ruby's Inn in Bryce, which also happened to be when they were holding their annual winter festival. It was so much fun! The girls loved swimming in the indoor pool and they also took a watercolor class (Noelle loves art so that's what she really wanted to do.) We also got some fun shirts at the festival. The only bad part about this trip was I got food poisoning our first night there. 😩 We all had pizza at a place near Ruby's Inn, and then unfortunately I was throwing up in our hotel later that night. Luckily I was the only one that got sick, and I felt much better the next day and was able to do all the hikes!
I took a lot of pics at Bryce Canyon, so I'll break our trip down into several posts of the different hikes we did. The first hike was the Navajo Loop Trail. (We liked it so much we actually ended up hiking part of it again the next day!) A portion of the trail is closed in the winter so we couldn't do the whole loop, but we still got to see a lot of it! Enjoy these beautiful pics! Thor's Hammer (near the beginning of the trail) is especially stunning!
