Williwaw Campground/BBVC, 6/30/24
Tuesday, July 22, 2025
After spending time at the AWCC, we made our way over to Williwaw Campground. It was kind of rainy, so we didn't set up our tent just yet, and we decided to walk to the Begich, Boggs Visitor Center, explore there, and then walk back. When we got back we made a campfire and had quickie pies, but it was still pretty rainy, so we decided to just drive home rather than camp in the rain, lol. Luckily it wasn't too far of a drive, haha. This was pretty much the only rainy weather we had, so I can't complain too much, and we still had a great day!

Williwaw Fish Viewing, 9/2/19
Sunday, September 22, 2019
After spending some time at the AWCC we decided to head on over to Williwaw Campground, where they have a nice big fish viewing platform, and beautiful glacier views! The fish viewing did not disappoint; we saw so many salmon! It was so cool! I'd never seen so many all at once like this. We all loved it. We also enjoyed seeing the many beautiful glaciers nearby. (I'm not sure of all the names, but it was gorgeous!) We are feeling very blessed to be living in Alaska and being able to see so many beautiful places. 🏔🐟
