Portage Pass, 5/18/16
After the AWCC we drove through the tunnel to Whittier! We had to drive two cars, and the girls were with Mike and Kay, and they said Ruby got a little bit scared in the tunnel, but then she started saying, "I think I can. I think I can. I think I can!" and she made it through! Haha! She's such a cutie!
We didn't stay in Whittier too long (there really isn't too much to do), but Scott and I were able to go on a quick hike to Portage Glacier. It was so pretty! Thanks Mike and Kay for watching our sleepy girls at the trailhead! We didn't go all the way to the beach near the glacier, but we did make it to the top in about 20 min! So beautiful! I'd love to do this hike again if we get the chance. :)
