Our Life in Alaska and Beyond

On Scott's day off yesterday we decided to hike Thunder Bird Falls! It was a little drizzly, but not too bad, and not too cold. The hike was beautiful! We just love summer here! And Noelle hiked the whole way to the falls by herself! However, she got a little tired on the way back and fell asleep in Scott's arms. :)

Spring is in the air! The buds on the trees are just starting to open up! Soon everything will be green! We are so excited! Our weekly Hadley AK Adventures are starting up again! Yay! Last Wednesday we decided to hike Thunder Bird Falls. We couldn't have asked for better weather. It was perfect! It was just so comfortable and pleasant to be outside. :) Enjoy these beautiful pics!

Scott surprised me by taking the day off on our five year anniversary! Yay! We went into Anchorage and did a little shopping, and then hiked to Thunderbird Falls. It was so beautiful and fun! The girls got kind of cold on our way back, but I'm so glad we hiked it. The snow really was so pretty, a true winter wonderland. :)

Scott has a new work schedule (four tens) which means he has every Wednesday off! Yay! Last week was his first Wednesday off and we had beautiful weather so we decided to hike Thunder Bird Falls, and then Eklutna Lake (blog post to come). We are loving this Alaskan summer!
