Sophie's Wedding, 6/17/23
Tuesday, July 23, 2024
Scott's cousin, Sophie, got married in Boise. All the Hadley's went and it was so fun to spend time together. Sohpie and Stephen were married at St. Mark's Catholic Church in the afternoon, and then they had a nice dinner and reception that evening at The Grove Hotel. Congrats Sophie and Stephen! 💒

One Day in AK Styled Shoot, 5/17/19
Friday, May 31, 2019
When I heard a couple of photographers that I follow on social media were hosting a portfolio building styled shoot "One Day in AK" I was definitely interested. They styled this whole shoot up at Eklutna Lake and it turned out so beautiful! All I had to do was show up with my camera and pay a small fee (very affordable compared to other workshops I've looked at.) I'm so glad I was able to go and meet these photographers in person and network with other photographers in Alaska. The shoot lasted a couple hours and Scott was able to stay home with the girls and put them to bed. Thanks honey! 😘 It was such a fun evening and I really enjoyed it!
I've been thinking about turning my photography hobby into a business. If I do start a business I'll move this post to my business blog, but for now I'm so happy with how these turned out I wanted to share them on here too. 😊💕

Sam's Wedding, 8/20-21/15
Monday, September 14, 2015
Get ready for a bunch of blog posts from our three (!!!) week trip to Utah! We had so much fun with family, and I'm so glad we got to take this vacation. We did so many fun things, and I can't wait to share pics! However, after three weeks of vacation it sure does feel good to be home. Scott and I realized after getting home that we really like living in Alaska. It is really hard to be SO far from our families, but Alaska is great, too. We love this beautiful state that we live in and we're so blessed that Scott has a great job that he loves, and we have a beautiful home to live in. :)
This first post is all about Sam and Sadie's wedding, since it's the first major event that happened after arriving in Utah. Sam and Sadie had a very nice wedding dinner the night before in my parents' backyard, and then they were married in the Salt Lake temple Friday (8/21) morning. The wedding ceremony was wonderful and we're so happy for them. Friday evening they had a big backyard reception at a friend of Sadie's family. It was a very fun couple of days. Congrats Sam and Sadie!
*Note: These are just a few of my favorite pics from the wedding photographer, not taken by me. We did take a few pics of our own at Temple Square on Friday morning that I'll share in a separate post. :)
