Our Life in Alaska and Beyond

Most of the Smithsonian museums in Washington DC are free, including the zoo! We went to the zoo on our second day in DC and I loved it! They had many animals I'd never seen before. My favorites were the giant pandas and the red pandas. So cute!

These are Asian elephants. They are smaller and have smaller ears than African elephants (like those at the Hogle Zoo.)

Pandas! This was my first time seeing a giant panda. They're so cute!
