Newsies, 11/11-12/22
Ruby decided to try something new: theater! The girls' elementary was offering a theater program for the older grades, and this year it was Newsies! Ruby tried out, and got the part of Ada (one of Medda's girls), a newsie, and a scab. It required a lot of dedication, going to practices before school for several weeks, but it paid off, and she and the rest of the cast did so good! It was an amazing performance, especially for an elementary!
I volunteered to take pictures, which I took during the dress rehearsal, and then I also got to enjoy both performances done by her cast. It was so fun, and I think Ruby will want to keep doing productions like this. Great job Ruby! ðŸŽ
