Spring Ballet Recital/Choir Concert, 4/27/24, 4/30/24
Right after moving here I got Noelle and Robyn signed up for ballet to continue working on what they had started in Utah. It was a great studio, and they had a fun time, (although I definitely miss Studio 1!) In the spring they had a nice recital. It's a bigger studio so they had many recitals during the day, and Noelle and Robyn weren't in the same one, but I had fun watching all the other classes as well, haha. Both Noelle and Robyn are such beautiful dancers and I love seeing them on stage! Great job girls!
Ruby also had a spring choir concert with her school. I was so impressed with the program! Her music teacher is so good with the kids and puts in so much work. I don't know that much about music, but the songs were great, and the lights on the stage were so cool too! I loved the concert! Great job Ruby!

Studio 1 Nutcracker Professional Pictures, 12/4, 12/7/23
The girls had their photos taken by a couple different professionals for the Nutcracker and I wanted to share on here. These first few were taken at the studio a few days after the performance, and a few days before we moved. I absolutely love how they turned out! 🐭🗡️

Noelle's Spring Ballet Recital, 5/16/23
Noelle's dance studio had a spring recital and they performed at Weber State. Noelle's class danced to this rainbow song, and it was so beautiful. I love watching Noelle dance and perform. Both sets of grandparents were able to come watch, along with Aunt Chrissy too! So grateful for all the support!

Noelle's 8th Birthday, 2/18/23
For Noelle's 8th birthday we decided to let her have a friend party, and she chose a ballet theme. 🩰 It was so cute! We had tutu cupcakes, the kids decorated jewelry boxes, and we played some games.
We love our Noelle Belle and can't believe how fast she's growing up! She loves dance and arts and crafts, and has a certain uniqueness that only she brings to our family, which we love her for! She's still very silly and makes us laugh, but Robyn may be passing her up in that regard, lol. Happy 8th Birthday Noelle! 🥳
Studio 1 Nutcracker, 12/5/22
Noelle took ballet again at Studio 1 all throughout the year, and she got to perform in The Nutcracker at Christmastime. The performance is an all children's cast, and they do such a good job! This year Noelle had the part of a doll. Her whole class was the doll(s) that Drosselmeyer brings to life, much to the delight of the children. Noelle did an amazing job, and I loved watching her dance. 🩰
Noelle's Spring Ballet Recital, 5/17/22
Noelle had her spring ballet recital just about a week before school got out for the year. It was held up at Weber State, and she did such a good job! Her class performed to the music of "You Are My Sunshine" and they all did so good! Their yellow tutus matched perfectly as well. 💛
Noelle dances so beautifully. She has natural abilities (she's always been so good at moving to the music, and she has a great turn out as well) and it's been fun to see her improve and learn more throughout the year. I love watching her dance and hope she wants to keep it up. Great job Noelle! 🌞
| She loved getting flowers afterwards! 🌼 |
Studio 1 Nutcracker, 12/13/21
Noelle has been taking ballet this year at Studio 1 right here in Farmington. She has loved it and it's so conveniently located to us! Her studio performed The Nutcracker in December and they did so good! Noelle got to be a mouse, and it was so cute! She did amazing! She knew the dance really well, and really played the part, especially while getting dragged off stage by a soldier, haha! They performed up at Weber State, and I was super impressed with the whole performance! I hope she wants to keep doing ballet so she can be in it again next year. Great job Noelle!
| I took these pics a few days after the actual performance, just before having professional photos taken at the studio. |
The Nutcracker, 11/30/19
The performance was amazing, and it was fun to see the choreography was still the same as when I was a soldier in the children's cast years ago. (The costumes have changed slightly though, haha.) Having a piece of SLC come to Alaska made me feel a little closer to home this holiday season. 🎄💝

Ruby's Christmas Concert, 12/5/17
Also, on Wednesday, Ruby's class got to go on a field trip to The Alaskan Nutcracker! (The last two pics.) I was lucky enough to be a chaperone and go with them while Scott stayed home with Noelle and Robyn. The Nutcracker was very cute with Alaskan themes throughout the show, and I'm so glad I got to see it. I think I enjoyed it more than most the kids, Ruby included, haha. But we all had fun! :)
