Our Life in Alaska and Beyond

The weather continues to be warm and beautiful! We're loving this summer! After I got off work last Saturday we decided to go swim at Wasilla Lake again. Ruby just loves the water! We had so much fun!

Lately Ruby has been pretending to throw chicken nuggets and other silly things at us. It makes us all laugh. :)

We were having really warm weather for AK (close to 80's) so we decided to take full advantage and go swimming at Wasilla Lake. I took the girls and met Scott on his lunch break on Monday because it was supposed to cool down and be rainy the rest of the week, and it has been. So glad we went on Monday when it was nice and hot! We had so much fun. Ruby especially enjoyed the water. Enjoy these cute pics! Also, Scott had to leave and go back to work before we were done swimming, so not pictured is me carrying the huge diaper bag, huge beach bag, Noelle in the sling, and Ruby because her feet were hurting from her flip flops. Longest walk back to the car ever, lol.

Also, over the 4th of July weekend we potty trained Ruby! Yay! No more diapers! We're still working on it, but for the most part she's doing great! Hopefully we'll have it down solid when we visit family next month.
