Our Life in Alaska and Beyond

Ruby again wanted to play soccer for Fall '23. She had an amazing coach who she'd already had a previous season, and one of my friend's daughters was on the team, so it was fun to see him at the games. Go Ruby! ⚽️

9/19/23. Such a beautiful evening!

Ruby again took soccer through the city for the spring season. She was on the same team as her bestie, so they really enjoyed that. Their team didn't do as good as last year, but they still had tons of fun. Go Ruby!

This pic is from her last game of the season, 5/23/23

Ruby and Noelle both decided to play soccer for the fall season. Ruby had the same coach as last spring, which was so great! She had an awesome season, and continued picking up great skills. Noelle just wanted to try soccer out, and she liked it ok, but only wanted to play this one season, haha.

They started pretty much right when school started in August, so it was still pretty hot, but by the end of the season it was perfect weather. Go girls!

Ruby decided to pick up a new sport last spring: Soccer! We signed her up through the city rec program, and she's loved it! She had a great coach and her team was really good too! Ruby even scored a goal at her first game. She scored many more goals throughout the season, and I think her team won every game except two. Great job Ruby!

I took these first two pics in our backyard after her last game, 5/26/22.
